How to apply

For full-time study

The quickest and easiest way to apply to study at West Coast Institute of Training is online at www.trainingwa.wa.gov.au.  Here, you can lodge your application online or download an application form which you can complete and hand-deliver or fax to the TAFE Admissions Centre.  By applying this way, you may also find out immediately if you have secured a place. 

First round
Wednesday 9 December 2009 - Closing date for late applications.  A  $75 late application fee applies.

Second round
Friday 15 January 2010 - Closing date for late applications.  A $75 late application fee applies.

Safety Net
After Friday 15 January 2010, applicants should apply direct to West Coast by completing this application form (PDF 53KB).  Once offered a place in a course, you will be invited to come in to West Coast andand enrol on the following dates:

27 & 28 January 2010 (full-time enrolments)
3 & 4 February 2010 (part-time enrolments)

Changes of preference 
Between 17 October 2009 and 9 December 2009 - changes allowed except for qualifications that require a portfolio.
Between 10 December 2009 and 15 January 2010 - no new qualifications may be added, howeverr for existing preferences, it is possible to:

• change the order of the preferences
• cancel preferences
• change the campus of an existing preference.

After 15 January 2010 - no changes to existing preferences can be made.

Part-time study

3-4 February 2010: Visit West Coast Institute of Training in person at our Student Administration Centre(Building A, Joondalup campus) to apply and enrol.
