Hospitality
Hospitality is undoubtedly the growth area of the future offering the ultimate lifestyle job in areas as diverse as mine sites, hotels, cruise ships, restaurants, resorts, retirement villages and everywhere there are food and beverages to be enjoyed. Whether it be back of the house or in front service positions, the opportunities are growing constantly.
World travellers take note that Hospitality graduates will have doors opened around the globe as skills learnt in this field of study are easily transferrable. In fact Hospitality skills have become a marketable commodity both overseas and here in Australia. With the Australian population aging and the ‘baby boomer’ generation retiring, luxury retirement villages are new workplaces where hospitality workers are in demand to manage restaurants, work as onsite chefs and coordinate functions.
Hospitality is not a 9 to 5 predictable career choice. It is a lifestyle job suiting those who enjoy a fast paced work environment where high standards must be maintained and stimulating and diverse opportunities are on offer every day.
