Courses Career Opportunities
S600 Certificate III in Tourism This certificate qualifies you to work as a: Sales Assistant; or Reservations Officer. It is also a pathway to Certificate IV in Tourism and Diploma of Tourism.
* S601 Certificate III in Tourism (Retail Travel Sales) With this qualification you are able to work in the retail travel sector, covering all types of retailers, including those that cover or specialise in leisure, corporate, domestic and international sales. At this level, retail travel personnel can operate in domestic or international sales and this qualification allows for both.
* S602 Certificate III in Tourism (Tour Wholesaling) Successful completion of this qualification provides you with the opportunity to become a wholesale operations consultant, reservations sales agent or inbound tour coordinator.
S603 Certificate III in Tourism (Visitor Information Services) Successful completion of this qualification provides you with the opportunity to become an information officer or booking agent within a visitor information centre.
S612 Certificate IV in Tourism This certificate qualifies you to work as a: Reservations Sales Agent; Visitor Information Officer; Tour Operations or Tour Wholesale Administrations Officer; Airline or Airport Operations Officer; and Senior Travel Consultants. It is also a pathway to Diploma of Tourism.
S618 Diploma of Tourism This qualification qualifies you to work as a: Corporate or Retail Travel Consultant; Tour Operations or Tour Wholesale Operations Consultant; Reservations Sale Agent; Inbound Tour Coordinator; Visitor Information Officer; Operations Manager; Tourism Manager; Product Manager; Marketing Manager.
S621 Advanced Diploma of Tourism With this qualification you are able to work in any sector of the tourism industry as a senior manager, general manager, business development manager, director of operations, or sales and marketing or owner–operator of any style of tourism business.
