Trades

The construction industry affects the lives of every Western Australian. It provides the homes in which we live, recreational facilities, schools and hospitals, and infrastructure for transport, water and electricity supply and telecommunications. The construction industry is an integral part of the Western Australian economy and is closely linked to other industries such as manufacturing and finance.

A qualification in construction trades will lay the foundations for a very exciting, respected and well-paid career that can be used in many countries around the world (ideal for those who wish to travel and work).

Construction trades students will conduct their training at our state-of-the-art trades training facility, Trades North at Clarkson. This has been designed to include dedicated training workshops and open spaces integrating each trade in a real world environment ensuring students are exposed to different disciplines and learn to work collaboratively on projects.
