General Education for Adults

General Education for Adults (CGEA) is a bridging program for those who require further academic qualifications necessary to enter formal TAFE studies. The CGEA provides skill development in reading, writing and numeracy and assists student study preparation in a variety of areas to meet personal needs, facilitate participation in the community, or other workplace and further educational training.

New Opportunities for Women (NOW)

For women about to reconnect to the workforce or reinvent themselves, we can help you get it right. New Opportunities for Women helps you make the right choices NOW, with information and skills you need to explore your future options. Our classes are designed to fit in with school hours and holidays because we know from first hand experience you have a busy schedule.

Wider Opportunities for Work (WOW)

Wider Opportunities for Work (WOW) is for men and women who may have been out of touch with the workaday world for some time. It concentrates on increasing your confidence to return to employment, education and training and gets you computer savvy and making friends with maths in no time.

Gaining Access to Training and Employment (GATE)

If you’re 16-19 years old and feel like a square peg in a round hole, don’t despair. You know the real you. You’ve got what it takes, as long as someone just gives you the chance. Well here’s your chance.

Our Gaining Access to Training and Employment programs provide a safe environment so you can believe in yourself. We purposely call this our GATE program because it opens up to a whole new world of possibilities.

Not only will we give you the respect you’re entitled to, we’ll help you connect to the rest of the world, both socially and at work. Your focus will be getting job ready, creating enterprise skills, and taking part in hands-on, real life projects for instant learning you can use anywhere.
