Community Services and Youth Work

Community Work is a life-giving career which enriches both the giver and receiver. These graduates have the common goal of wanting to make the world a better place.  This mantra keeps Community Work graduates motivated, and sees them edging towards this goal daily – one situation at a time.

Community Work graduates work with people of all ages helping them during sometimes challenging and stressful times in their lives.  Women’s refuges, hospitals, drug rehabilitation centres, community houses are some typical workplaces for the graduate.  Community development projects in local government also offer interesting and diverse opportunities.
