West Coast Institute of Training received $2m in the Commonwealth’s ‘Better TAFE Facilities’ Funding
West Coast facilities just keep getting better and better! When the Federal Minister for Education, Julia Gillard, announced the Rudd Government’s allocation of Better TAFE Facilities funding, West Coast beneficiary to the tune of $2 million. West Coast’s allocation will be used as follows:
Having accepted the new funding, the college will develop an implementation plan to ensure all projects will be completed by the 30 June 2010. Whilst some disruption to normal services will be encountered, the college will put in place contingencies to ensure training delivery and services are impacted as little as possible while achieving the Commonwealth’s time line.

Along with our students receiving training in an even better environment, those who have received training in the past will be engaged to affect the improvements.
