Why Study at West Coast Institute of Training?

Being a part of the national traning system means that West Coast Institute of Training courses and qualifications are nationally accredited. Any Certificate, Diploma and Advanced Diploma qualifications attained are recognised Australia wide, some internationally, and can also be used to link into university degree courses.

Because of the high quality of the teaching and facilities available at West Coast, graduates are in demand across Australia and the world, and the employment opportunities for both graduates and those still in training are outstanding.

The emphasis on providing employment-ready skills is evident in the number of apprenticeship and pre-apprenticeship courses offered by the College, which are delivered both on campus and off site at the apprentices’ workplaces. As with most of the College’s training, the delivery of apprenticeship and pre-apprenticeship training is designed around the working and lifestyle needs of the apprentice and their employer.

The Joondalup Learning Precinct (JLP) also has a range of articulation pathways enabling West Coast students to gain advanced standing in a range of courses, particularly at Edith Cowan University.
