Eligibility for Recoginition of Prior Learning

Do you have skills gained from work or life experiences that relate to a module in your course?  If you can verify these skills though an interview, samples of your work, a letter of reference from your employer or a workplace assessment, you may apply for a Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).

A key principle of RPL is acceptance that you may gain competencies from many sources. For example, courses or training programs, paid or unpaid work experience, community or voluntary work and life experiences such as travel or home duties.

You will need to complete a RPL Application Form and prepare supporting evidence to accompany your application.  RPL Application Forms are available from the Student Administration Centre and fees do apply. Please note that fees paid for a RPL applications are not refundable.
