Dubai

West Coast Institute of Training has auspiced the delivery of training and assessment of the Certificate I in Security Operations in the United Arab Emirates.  The training was with Specialist Training Australia (STA) and conducted in Dubai.

West Coast has also conducted Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment in Dubai.

Qatar Petroleum

In the State of Qatar, West Coast Institute of Training has provided auspicing and program support to trainers delivering Security training to employees of Qatar Petroleum at Certificate levels II, III, and IV.

  

 

                                                         Indonesia       

PT INCO

At the PT INCO mine site on the Indonesian island of South Sulawasi, West Coast Institute of Training recently provided auspicing of the Certificate II in Security Operations to security personnel in conjunction with Osprey Asset Management (OAM), an Australian company specialising in security and asset risk management.

 

 

                                                       Bangladesh    

Skills Assessment

West Coast Institute of Training has provided assessors for skills testing for Chefs and Cooks, using established and recognised skills assessment protocols. This skills verifications service is for the purpose of making skilled workers available for employment in Australia and other countries.

 

Bangladesh Hospital

In March 2008 six nursing students undertook a practicum as volunteers in a Bangladesh hospital under an Australian Government initiative for VET Mobility Overseas. The students were supervised by a West Coast Institute of Training lecturer.

 

 

                                             Papua New Guinea  

 Sefti PNG

In 2007 the Diploma of Occupational Safety and Health was delivered in Port Moresby to Sefti PNG, the peak national association for occupational safety and health. The training was to officers from Association member companies and delivered through a combination of workshops and online distance education.
