Western Australia's Premier Colin Barnett witnessing the MOU between Zhejiang Department of Public Security and the International Academy of Law Enforcement and Security (IALES)

 

The Managing Director of West Coast Institute of Training Sue Slavin and the Western Australia Police Assistant Commissioner Gary Dreibergs were invited to join Premier Colin Barnett's delegation for the 2009 Western Australia-Zhejiang Exchange visit and meetings in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province. 

The signing of the MOU between Zhejiang Department of Public Security and the IALES was an important event, with the signatories for IALES being Managing Director of West Coast Institute of Training Sue Slavin and the Western Australia Police Assistant Commissioner Gary Dreibergs.  The Honourable Premier Colin Barnett and the Vice-Governor of Zhejiang Province, His Excellency Gong Zheng signed the MOU as witnesses.

IALES will be jointly operated by West Coast Institute of Training and the Western Australia Police.

The MOU is for the development of specialist police and security training, as well as staff exchange between IALES and the Zhejiang Department of Public Security.
