Plan your time
- Use your study timetable.
- Plan ahead when assignments are due and allow yourself time to complete them before the due date.
- Remember to plan time for breaks and having fun.
- You will be more effective at study if you lead a balanced life. That means time for study, friends, proper meals, exercise and the things in life that are important to you.
Seek Help
Sometimes despite all your efforts you may struggle with your study. Your progress may be affected by difficulties with English, different methods of teaching, not fully understanding what is required or with an inability to organise yourself or manage your time. If you have study problems it is important to seek help as soon as you can. You can speak to your lecturer or to staff at the International Student Centre. You can also seek help from specialist Learning Support & Study Skills teaching staff.
