Overseas Health Cover

Health Insurance is compulsory for all student visa holders. You pay your health insurance premium directly to Education and Training International (ETI). ETI will then forward your payment to Worldcare Assist or Medibank Private on your behalf.

Your Overseas Health Cover (OSHC) card will then be sent directly to your home address or to the International Student Centre at West Coast Institute of Training. It can take up to four weeks to receive your card in the mail.

It is your responsibility to inform your OSHC provider of any change of address, lost or stolen cards or any alteration to your visa.

You must have health cover for the entire duration of your visa.

The cost of services such as dental, optical and pharmaceutical will not be covered by OSHC. Please see provider website for further details on what is included in your cover.
